West Sussex County Council and Experience West Sussex organised and hosted a fantastic afternoon in the rather impressive Jubilee room where hundreds of guests sampled the finest our county has to offer including Slake’s Sussex Dry Gin, Cheeses from Bookham Harrison Farms and the High Weald Dairy, Cider from Trenchmore Farm, Tea & Coffee from Edgcumbes, Snacks and superfood bites from Frog Hollow Catering, Chocolates from Noble & Stace, Beer from Hepworth & Co Brewers, Breads from the Artisan Bakehouse, Pies and Sausage rolls from Rushfields Farm Shop, Juices from Wobblegate, Soft drinks from Sam’s Kitchen and last, but certainly not least, Wines from Bolney Wine Estate, Wiston Estate and Highdown Vineyard.

The Taste of West Sussex event was well-attended and it was a pleasure to introduce Slake to our local MP, Tim Loughton, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Liz Truss and 2018 Masterchef winner Kenny Tutt and his lovely wife, Lucy. Meeting so many passionate advocates and champions for food & drink really made the trip for us and we’re delighted to have been chosen to represent Sussex Gin. We even made South Today.
