‘Winter Cheer’ Workshop at The South of England Winter Fair

Join us and folklore storyteller Dawn Nelson at this year’s South of England Winter Fair to celebrate the season with winter cheer, stories and song!
Discover the secrets the apple trees hold, the woman who dwells in the woods and sing good health for the coming winter while you sip on cups of delicious wassail, a warm spiced punch traditionally served at Christmas to bring in good health and general merriment.
We’ll be sharing some old wassail recipes and there will be spices available so you can build your own spice bag to take home. And once you’re finished cheering and singing you can write down your winter wish and pin it to Dawn’s cape which has been known to hold magical qualities!
Non-alcoholic spiced beverages will also be available no-one needs to miss out on the winter cheersing.
