Where to buy Slake Gin?

As long as you don’t need it immediately… No judgement here! ๐Ÿ˜ We’ve all had one of those weeks before. ๐Ÿธ Then often the best place to buy Slake Gin is our online shop. We can deliver nationally with a variety of shipping options and you could join our online Slake Rewards scheme. If you are in a bit of a hurry though. Is it really their birthday again already? How to garnish Slake Gin?

Well, that rather depends on the recipe. Our Sussex Dry Gin is a herbal and citrus forward gin that pairs well with fresh rosemary and ruby grapefruit. ๐ŸŠ ๐ŸŒฟ Whereas, our Hedgerow Gin is more fruity and floral and pairs particularly well with elderflower and dark or red fruits like blackberry and raspberry. ๐Ÿ’ฎ๐Ÿ“

Where is the Slake gin distillery? Is it possible to visit and tour the distillery?

You can find us on Google Maps and absolutely! Please email or call to arrange a visit. You can collect orders from the distillery or book a tour and tasting for up to 5 people for ยฃ15 per head (also redeemable per person against purchases of 500ml bottles). You can get to Shoreham-by-Sea by train or bus easily and it’s around a 20 minute walk to the distillery from the town centre or a short taxi ride. Alternatively, you can cycle or drive directly to the distillery. ๐Ÿšฒ

My order is a gift. Can I add a gift note?

If you order is a gift, please notify us using the ‘Order notes’ box on the checkout page. ๐ŸŽ You can also request a short message to the recipient. โœ‰๏ธ

If your order is being delivered locally we may opt to deliver without packaging. This helps us to minimise our environmental impact, but it can spoil the surprise if the wrong person answers the door! So, please let us know if you need us to conceal the contents! ๐Ÿคซ

Can I get an invoice?

By default we do not include an invoice or packing list in the box as orders are often gifts. If you need an invoice or a packing list, please request one using the ‘Order notes’ box on the checkout page. ๐Ÿงพ

When will my order be delivered?

Depending on the shipping option selected we offer next day services via DPD or APC. ๐Ÿšš๐Ÿ’จ Please, order before 1pm for next day services. You can always give us a call on 01273 457765 to confirm too. โ˜Ž๏ธ

Our national ‘no rush’ service is normally sent via Royal Mail second class signed for post. ๐ŸŒโœ‰๏ธ Generally speaking these arrive in 2-3 days from dispatch, but 3-5 days is possible. These orders are tracked and you will recieve a tracking code, but if you have not recieved your parcel within 5 days, please get in touch so we can help. ๐Ÿ“ฆ

Our local ‘no rush’ service is typically one of the team dropping it off to you when we’re next passing your area! Not only is this efficient for us, but it helps the environment too as we can combine our deliveries to certain areas. ๐Ÿ’š Besides we like to see your smiling faces! ๐Ÿ˜€

Consequently, places further across Sussex can often takes a bit longer than those closer to the distillery e.g. Shoreham, Worthing, Hove are often only 1-2 days, sometimes the same day! ๐Ÿ“ฆ๐Ÿ’จ You can always upgrade to next day or leave us a message in the ‘Order notes’ if it’s time sensitive! โฑ๏ธ

Can you deliver to a safe place? Or on a particular day?

If you need to specify a safe place or a particular day for delivery, please request it using the ‘Order notes’ box on the checkout page. ๐Ÿ“† Depending on the shipping method used this may or may not be possible. A shipping upgrade could be required, but we’ll get in touch to let you know if so.
